Pula Arena

Pula Arena rises above the old town in pale limestone rings. Its arches catch bright Adriatic light, while the oval floor feels open and calm. From the upper stone tiers, the harbor and city roofs appear through ancient openings.

It is one of the best preserved Roman amphitheaters still standing, with four towers intact. Visitors remember the contrast between its hard stone, sea air, and living cultural stage. The place feels ancient, yet warmly alive after two thousand years.

Twin Gates

Two weathered stone arches rise beside Pula’s old walls and shaded pedestrian paths. Their restrained Roman design feels solid, balanced, and quietly monumental.

Built in the second century, the gates once controlled entry through the fortified city wall. Visitors value their direct connection to everyday Roman Pula. Passing beneath the arches makes the ancient city feel remarkably close.
