Marine Gate

Marine Gate stands at the northern edge of Rhodes Old Town, where the medieval city meets the Aegean. Built by the Knights of St. John in the 14th century, its twin cylindrical towers frame a passage that once controlled all maritime access to the island. The stonework is dense and deliberate, worn to a pale gold by centuries of salt air and sun.

Street of the Knights
