Taroko National Park Archway

The Taroko National Park Archway stands at the gorge entrance with red pillars and a green tiled roof. Behind it, marble cliffs rise sharply above the Liwu River. The air feels cool and mineral, with mountain walls closing in around the road.

Shakadang Trail

The flat pathway hugs the sheer stone cliff above a winding river. Cool air rises from the water, carrying the scent of damp moss and wet marble. High canyon walls rise on both sides, blocking out the direct heat of the sun. The sound of rushing water echoes softly along the shaded stone corridor.
